PDF Fields Table explained
The fields table on the xEdit page is one of the most useful ways to make page by page changes on a document and edit fields en masse, especially if you have a complex file. Instead of navigating through pages and selecting individual fields to make amendments, use the tabular layout to:
- Add labels.
- Add placeholders.
- Set up field ordering (order is top-down if blank).
- Easily switch validation types.
- Edit options for dropdown fields.
- Amend alignment on fields.
- Change font size for all fields on a page. (Hold Shift key + select font to change all).
- Set fields as required/optional.
- Delete fields.
