After uploading a document, and being redirected to the xEdit page, users will need to add fields for the various recipients (Parties). To add a Party, use the dropdown menu at the top of the Signer fields subsection (see below). Within this menu, assign Parties (Signers or Approvers) and eWitnesses. Types of Party Signer For a signatories, drag-and-drop any signer fields onto your template, including at least one signature field. Witness To add an eWitness (for Party 1 , select Party 1 – Witness ), drag and drop any signer fields onto your template, including at least one signature field.

Approver To add an Approver, drag and drop any signer fields, omitting any signature fields. For approval only documents, add a discrete optional tick box at the end of the document, or use the Do Not Print on PDF advanced form field option.
All Parties’ field borders are colour-coded for easy identification. Their respective eWitnesses are assigned the same colour but have a dashed border.
