PDF Fields Table explained

The fields table on the xEdit page is one of the most useful ways to make page-by-page changes on a document and edit fields en masse, especially if you have a complex file.

Instead of navigating through pages and selecting individual fields to make amendments, use the tabular layout to:

  1. Add labels.

  2. Add placeholders.

  3. Set up field ordering (order is top-down if blank).

  4. Easily switch validation types.

  5. Edit options for dropdown fields.

  6. Amend alignment on fields.

  7. Change font size for all fields on a page. (Hold Shift key + select font to change all).

  8. Set fields as required/optional.

  9. Delete fields.
