Device Lock

To ensure eWitnesses are physically present when signing takes place, use “Device Lock’ to force witnesses to use the same device as the signer they are witnessing.

First, the signer will be prompted to add and sign the document, then the witness will be prompted to fill in and sign the document.

Pair the Device Lock feature with SMS Witnessing for additional security.

To activate Device Lock:

1. Go to Presets to view the Experiences tab.

2. Select the first listing called Base.

3. Click Edit Experience in the top-right corner.

4. In the left menu, scroll down and click on Options.

5. Scroll down to Witness Options.

6. Click “Witness must use signer’s device.”

7. Then click “Save Changes” to confirm.
