Sender Fields
Templates can be customised using Sender Fields, which let the Sender (you) apply dynamic information to the document upon sending.
For example; a seller can provide specific details such as an item description or add a price tag without needing to upload a new document each time. The Sender Field information is then printed directly onto the PDF document and sent to the Recipients for signing and completion.
Label your Sender Fields to help identify them on the Details & Set-up page.
To add a Sender Field:
Using the Web App, on the Template Preparation page:
Go to the Template Preparation page,
Change the Selected Participant to Sender (You),
Drag and drop the required Fields onto the Template (see here for tips on Field Alignment).
You will then need to complete any required Sender Fields before sending the Document. On the Details & Set-Up tab, there is a section to enter information into the fields. The Preview pane on the left will update as Fields are completed, and includes a list of all the Fields in the Document.
Using text tags:
Using the attribute ‘type’ (terse version ‘t’) add the value ‘sender’, so your tag looks like this:
<<t=sender;>>
When adding fields, use ‘Content’ to pre-fill sender fields that regularly carry the same information.
