How to add a Witness

eWitnessing adds security to your signing process and helps you comply with eSignature regulations.

Witnesses are created on the Edit page, by clicking the Manage Participants button with their name and email address then assigned on the Recipients page.

  1. Visit the Edit page of the Template

  2. Click Manage Participants

  3. Click under a Signer to add a new Witness (Each Signer can only have one)

  4. Optionally add a description e.g.: Tenant’s witness, Landlord’s witness, etc.

  5. Select the Signer Experience settings for each witness (New signer experiences can be created on the Experiences page)

  6. Click Done when you have finished

  7. On the Edit page, click and drag a new signature field for them to sign, at least one field is required for each witness.

For added security enable Two-factor Authentication for Witnesses.
