Challenges Before Legalesign

Before Legalesign, Trilateral Research used an electronic signature software which covered some requirements but faced challenges such as:

1. Lack of Support: Support for the Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) facility was inadequate, meaning they could not utilise the facility when needed.  As the facility was provided by two partner companies, they found neither partner would take accountability for the issues.  

2. Inflexible Workflows: Remote eWitnessing of documents could only happen with pre-specified witnesses, which in many cases was not possible, meaning they could not enact remote eWitnessing when needed.

Trilateral Research needed to get witnessed signatures from remote stakeholders, within a very short period of time, in order to comply with a legal deadline.  Traditional methods requiring physical presence were impractical. Other eSignature facilities would only allow eWitnessing where the witness was pre-assigned, something that was also not feasible in the majority of cases. 

Legalesign allowed them to obtain witnessed signatures, where the signatory could assign the witness and have them sign immediately, helping Trilateral Research meet strict legal deadlines and ensuring compliance, even with remote participants.
