Update News V1.7.0

We are excited to introduce several feature updates and improvements in this latest release.

Feature Updates

Merged Roles and Edit pages

The Roles page has been merged into the Edit page, simplifying the template setup process, especially for users sending documents to a single recipient.

Updated Upload modal

Added a feature to replace files selected for uploading, with more upload progress states, and also refined the instructional text.

Template titles in the Upload drawer link to the Edit page

Completed uploads in the drawer can now be clicked to prepare them with fields, saving users' clicks.

Increased logo dimensions

Improved branding options by increasing the maximum dimensions of images uploaded for the email and signing page logo.

New Sender email options in Team settings

Added options to configure how senders receive emails when documents are completed by all recipients, or when an email bounces.

Enhanced sender field ordering

Improved the ordering of how sender fields are completed when no custom field order has been set, so they get completed according to their position of the page – top to bottom, page by page.

Controlled group creation

Limited the number of groups users can create, according to their billing limits.

Added signerParent link to document

Reinforced the document flow linking a witness to their signer.

Disabled signature assignment for Sender and Approver

Removed the option to assign signature fields to senders and approvers to enhance document processing.

Added error messaging for password protected PDFs

Introduced error messaging for attempts to upload password-protected PDFs.
