The Law Commission today started its consultation on e-signature. With extensive analysis already undertaken, the Commission takes the view that the current law is appropriate for e-signature, but seeks more views on e-signature and deeds.
Responses are sought by the 23rd November. In particular the Commission seeks further views to clarify the situation e-signature and deeds, whether video links should be used, whether a specific platform should be created.
